The cooperative member register is maintained in co-op member and customer registers. Information saved in the register, such as name, social security number, profession, address, children's years of birth and date of joining, as well as information on the type of the S-Etukortti card held and any secondary cash cards are based on the information provided by the co-op member in his/her member application or later.
The register is also used to manage and cater for customer relations with co-op member households, to keep in contact with them and for marketing purposes.The information in the register is used, among other things, to pay Bonus purchase rewards, interest on the membership fee and possible return on surplus to co-op members.
For the calculation of Bonus and other cash benefits, the receipt's final sum on the purchases is gathered into the database.Product-level information is not interlinked with individual co-op member households.The register also contains information on the member's benefit payment account.
