BE AWARE! FRAUDULENT MESSAGES ARE BEING SENT
IN THE NAME OF S GROUP BRANDS

If a message seems too good to be true, do not click on it. S Group never sends emails asking for money or requesting customers' passwords, bank, or credit card information.

Unfortunately, our brands are occasionally misused or associated with inappropriate contexts. Naturally, S Group has nothing to do with such activities.

The purpose of fraudulent messages is to collect confidential information through inquiries, participation requests, etc., to spread malware, or to bind respondents to unreasonable terms. Fraudsters utilize various channels such as phone calls, text messages, emails, and social media to attempt scams.

The misuse of our brands for criminal purposes is prohibited, and we report any scams we become aware of to the authorities if necessary.

Examine your messages

Before responding to a message, consider the following: Does the offer sound too good to be true? Is the writing style and grammar of the message appropriate? Is there anything else suspicious about the message's content?

If an email contains a link, hover your mouse pointer over the link (without clicking it) to see which internet address it points to. If the domain behind the link does not relate to the sender of the message, it is most likely a phishing attempt. Scams are increasingly prevalent on social media platforms. Fraudsters create fake profiles in the names of companies and try to entice users, for example, to participate in fake competitions or register on unfamiliar websites.

WHAT TO DO IF YOU RECEIVE A FRAUDULENT MESSAGE?

If you receive such a message, delete it or close it without clicking on any links. You can report fraudulent messages to the NCSC-FI (National Cyber Security Centre, Finnish Transport and Communications Agency Traficom): https://www.kyberturvallisuuskeskus.fi/en/report

If you have been deceived, for example, by providing your credit card information to a fraudulent website, contact your bank or credit card company immediately. It is advisable to cancel your card and contact the consumer authority https://www.kkv.fi/en/consumer-affairs/consumer-advisory-services/

If you have been targeted by a text message scam, contact your mobile phone operator.

HOW TO RECOGNISE THAT A MESSAGE IS FROM S GROUP?
