CO-OP MEMBERSHIP FEE: INVEST IN YOUR CO-OPERATIVE

AS ONE OF THE OWNERS, YOU GET ALL THE CO-OP MEMBER BENEFITS

The co-op membership fee is 100 euros. It's an investment that makes you one of the owners in your local co-operative and entitles you to all the benefits of being a co-op member. The most well-known benefit is the Bonus, which is up to 5% cashback from your purchases. In addition to the Bonus, you benefit from the fair price advantages of being a co-op member. If you choose to cancel your co-op membership, you'll be refunded your paid membership fee.

When you become a co-op member by paying a partial membership fee (minimum 20 euros), any accrued Bonus and Payment method-related benefits from your purchases will be used to cover your fee. Once your membership fee is paid in full, you'll receive these benefits directly into your S-Bank account, giving you the freedom to use them as you wish.

Typically, you have two years to pay your co-op membership fee in full. However, if the co-op membership fee is not fully paid within that period, the co-op will have to terminate the co-op membership.

INTEREST ON CO-OP MEMBERSHIP FEE

Once a year, the co-operative may also pay interest on the co-op membership fee. The decision to pay interest is made by the representative body elected by the co-op members based on the previous year's results, and it is paid to the co-op members who have fully paid their membership fee by the end of that year.
