By concentrating your purchases, you can receive Bonus of up to 5% of your purchases in euros – and an additional 0.5% as a payment method benefit when paying for your purchase with an S-Etukortti card.
Good news – co-op members are paid more than 30 million euros in hard cash to their bank accounts on the 10th day of every month.
Your Bonus percentage increases the more you purchase. Concentrating your purchases increases both the amount of your Bonus purchases and your Bonus percentage, which means you get more money back for your purchases.
You will also receive a payment method benefit of 0.5% if you pay with the S-Etukortti card
Once per year, the cooperative can also reward its co-op members with a return of surplus and by paying them interest on their membership fees.
The interest on the membership fee is the same for all the cooperative’s co-op members. On the other hand, a return of surplus is a percentage amount determined by the Council of Representatives from the Bonus purchases that a co-op member has concentrated in their cooperative’s outlets.
TIP! The return of surplus is always calculated relative to the co-op member’s purchases in their own cooperative’s outlets, so it is another good reason to concentrate your purchases.
