S-Bank belongs to S Group and is the first and only in-store bank in Finland.Launched in October 2007, deposit bank operations were a natural way for S Group to continue the hundred-year-old traditions of savings fund operations.
S-Bank offers its customers banking services for managing their daily finances, for saving and for financing various purchases.S-Bank's services are aimed primarily at the co-op members of the cooperatives, to whom the bank offers the best benefits.Among other things, co-op members are able to receive S-Bank's current account, online banking codes and S-Etukortti card Visa to their disposal free of charge.
S-Bank serves its customers in some 1,000 S Group outlets, in the online bank and by phone service.S-Bank's customer service points can be found at every Prisma, nearly all Sokos shops and a few S-markets.Some of the banking errands can also be managed at the other S-markets, at Alepa and Sale shops as well as at ABC service stations.
S-Bank is owned by SOK (Suomen Osuuskauppojen Keskuskunta, 50%), S Group's regional cooperatives and one of its local cooperatives (altogether 50%).This means that S-Bank is fully under Finnish ownership. One indication of S-Bank's Finnish basis is its Key Flag, issued to prove that a product or service is Finnish-made.
