The S-Etukortti card brings even more benefit than before! When you pay for your purchases, with your S-Etukortti card, in the S Group’s own outlets, you receive a 0.5 % payment-method benefit on the total for the purchases.

You receive a payment-method benefit for purchases made at the S Group

The payment-method benefit accrues on all purchases made by persons belonging to the co-op member household and which are paid for with the S-Etukortti card at the time of the purchase. The payment-method benefit accrues in the S Group’s own outlets in Finland. The payment-method benefit is calculated primarily on the total of the entire purchase. In the S Group’s automotive stores, you can get a payment-method benefit for maintenance, spare parts and accessories. The payment-method benefit is not paid on car purchases. In Agrimarkets and S-Rautamarkets the payment-method benefit accrues on all purchases that also attract the Bonus.

The payment-method benefit is paid into your account once a month

The payment-method benefit, on the purchases of the entire co-op member household, is paid into the co-op member household’s main member’s benefit payment account in the S Bank by the 10th of the following month. You can follow the payment-method benefit accrued via Co-op Member Online and by the bonus calculation that accompanies the co-op member mailing.

Get an S-Etukortti card with payment options now – also for family members

The payment-method benefit started to accrue from 1.1.2008 for all the S-Etukortti card’s payment options. You can explore the S-Etukortti card’s various payment options at
www.s-pankki.fi (in Finnish).

Check the types of payment options included with your S-Etukortti card, and if needed order a new S-Etukortti card, using the form available at S Group outlets or from a S Group’s customer service point. If you have the S Bank’s bank codes, you can submit your card application easily via the online bank.

The payment-method benefit accrues on S-Etukortti cards belonging to everyone in a co-op member household. Therefore, it is worthwhile ensuring family members also have an S-Etukortti card, equipped with a payment option, at their disposal.

Direct from your account or credit, the choice is yours

You can choose yourself whether you pay for your purchases directly from your bank account or on credit. When you pay with an S-Etukortti card from your bank account (debit), you must have at least the purchase’s cost in your account. Thanks to the good interest rate, it is also worth placing all the money, reserved for household costs, into its own S-Tili Account in the S Bank. Directing money to an S-Tili Account is done easily by a transfer using your account number. A good option, for example, is to direct your wages or pension directly to the S-Tili Account or to transfer a part as a regular transaction, by a regular transfer to the S Bank.
